From the start Our firm originated with the establishment of a tax office in 1956 by Christian Sonnemann (photo). Our clientele was initially mainly regionally based, with the majority of our projects coming from the city center of Frankfurt. At that time, our office served many newly introduced retail companies located in the bustling hub of the "Fressgass" and Goethestrasse - in an era before chain stores were taking hold on a massive scale in the retail sector. Later, our clientele grew to include companies with international operations, who needed a dependable service provider in Germany for their business premises and subsidiaries. One advantage of our location is its proximity to the Frankfurt airport. After extensive experience abroad and having worked at two international auditing firms, Erik Sonnemann joined the firm as a partner in 1993. At that time, the firm had a staff of nine. The economic sector was becoming increasingly international and the firm grew sharply, making relocation to larger premises necessary. In December 1994, the firm therefore moved from its office on Hornauer Strasse, which it had used since 1956 and had been expanded time and again over the years, to a newly constructed space in the city center of Kelkheim. Our clients are small and mid-sized national and international companies and freelance contractors, for whom we perform services in the fields of tax advising, auditing, and corporate consulting. But we also specialize in serving companies and consultants from the financial services sector, portfolio companies of private equity firms, and long-term service for outbound activities (establishing and relocating businesses abroad).
